InCharge Energy unveils three multi-EV fleet chargers

The ICE-600, ICE-480, and Ice Cube are all offered with the North American Charging Standard (NACS) connector option.

InCharge Energy introduced three new multi-vehicle chargers: the ICE-600, ICE-480, and the Ice Cube, all offered with the North American Charging Standard (NACS) connector option.

ICE-600

The ICE-600 split system can charge up to 10 EVs simultaneously with dynamic power sharing in 60kW increments. It offers a charge rate of up to 500kW on a single connector. The system can be installed with “Micro” single-cable dispensers or “Slim Line” dual-cable dispensers. The company expects customer deliveries to begin in Q4 of this year.

ICE-480

The ICE-480 allows for the power cabinet and up to four Slim Line dispensers to be positioned approximately 100 yards apart, supporting up to eight EVs at a time. It provides dynamic power sharing in 120kW increments, with a single connector capable of providing up to 480kW.

Ice Cube

The Ice Cube is a 240kW split EV charging system with integrated battery storage of 200kWh, expandable to 800kWh. It supports charging for up to four vehicles and can utilize local grid power, solar panels, or battery packs.

Electric truck technology evolves quickly, and it's to the point where the industry as a whole is done talking about it in broad terms that simplify an electric powertrain compared to its diesel brethren. There are still plenty of truck spec'ing decisions to make that will be driven by application and duty cycle, even in an all-electric world. Case in point, the International Trucks eMV that was on display at ACT Expo. The last time we saw the truck was at the Work Truck Show in 2023 when we caught up with Bruce Vasbinder, director of medium-duty segment marketing, International Trucks, to walk around the battery EV.
