Hyundai previews enhanced Xcient fuel cell truck

Hyundai also announced a collaboration with autonomous driving company Plus.

At ACT Expo 2024, Hyundai previewed a new concept of an enhanced version of its Xcient fuel cell truck. The enhancement concept includes a 12.3-in. fully-digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-in. touch screen infotainment system with physical buttons integrated into the center console.

The display model shown at ACT also features a suite of Hyundai Motor’s Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS). Offerings include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Side Collision Avoidance Warning and Smart Cruise Control.

The company also introduced its collaboration with autonomous driving company Plus, in which the two companies are testing Level 4 autonomous driving technology on Hyundai Motor’s Xcient fuel cell truck in the U.S..
