Keeping it custom: Peterbilt Model 589 new accessory options

The interior, exterior and lighting packages for the Model 589 available exclusively through Peterbilt’s 425+ dealer locations.

The Peterbilt Model 589 was the star of the OEM’s booth at this year’s Mid-America Trucking Show, as it was decked out in chrome, lighting and other aftermarket exterior and interior Peterbilt Genuine Accessories that were designed exclusively for the Model 589 and are available from Peterbilt dealers.

The Model 589 Peterbilt Genuine Accessories are categorized into three main packages. The Exterior Package includes a Wheel Cover, Sunvisor, Rocker, and Fenderette. The Interior Package features a Dash Kit, Door Insert Kit, Pedal Kit, and Shifter Kit. Lastly, the Lighting Package offers an Exterior Light Strip, Logo Light, Canister Light, and Projector Logo Light.

“The ability to customize the Model 589 with this extensive range of Peterbilt Genuine Accessories lets customers reflect their individual style and preferences to amplify the iconic exterior styling and enhance the driver’s environment,” noted Jake Montero, assistant general manager, sales and marketing, Peterbilt.
