Kenworth Class 8 and medium-duty trucks now are available with the Alcoa Ultra ONE wheel.

The 22.5-in. by 8.25-in. Ultra ONE wheel is made of the Alcoa MagnaForce alloy. Compared to its existing alloy wheel, the Ultra ONE offers a 17% increase in strength, weighs just 40 lbs. for an additional 5-lbs. weight savings, and maintains the same 7,400-lbs. load and 130 psi inflation ratings, according to Alcoa.

The new wheel is available on Kenworth trucks in all of Alcoa’s finish options, including Dura-Bright, Dura-Flange, Mirror Polish, Clean Buff and Brush.

PACCAR Parts named Weller Truck Parts as its 2023 Supplier of the Year, recognizing the supplier that the company says demonstrated outstanding operational achievements, sales growth, parts availability, and program support last year.

Over the course of 2023, PACCAR Parts says Weller contributed to its overall network performance by exceeding 17% year over year in growth. The company adds that Weller produced an on-time shipping rate of more than 99%.
