Donaldson receives award for aftermarket excellence

Donaldson Co., a manufacturer of filtration solutions and products, has been awarded a 2014 Supplier Award by Volvo Group Purchasing in the aftermarket excellence category.

The Volvo Group Purchasing Supplier Award recognizes top suppliers based on specific performance criteria, including the supplier’s capacity to effectively collaborate globally with the Volvo Group organization and consistently improve performance. Volvo Group purchasing managers compared over 2,700 standard production suppliers to select the winners of each category. The awards were presented in six categories: Cost, fuel efficiency and innovation, project delivery, aftermarket, and total value management excellence. Donaldson was recognized with the Aftermarket Excellence Award because of the company’s continuous efforts and drive for innovation, providing optimized delivery standards and global coordination, according to the company.

“At Donaldson, our goal has always been to provide market-leading filtration technology and exceptional customer service,” said Wim Vermeersch, vice president, EMEA, at Donaldson Co. “To receive an award like this from a valued strategic partner like the Volvo Group is an incredible honor. I’d like to personally thank the many Donaldson employees who contributed to this success. As a team, we remain committed to maximizing our customers’ revenue and profitability through partnership and collaboration, innovative technology and ongoing continuous improvement efforts.”
