The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) recently compiled idling regulations that are in effect in various jurisdictions across the country. Because these are all local ordinances, it is very difficult for fleets to know what laws govern idling. As a service to the industry, ATRI has given permission to Fleet Equipment magazine to publish this compendium.
